Adidas Watches is a small project established by the legendary footwear company. At the time the web site experience the ecommerce site was in need of a redesign to improve navigation, filtering, and allow Adidas to establish more of a brand personality on the site. This meant working closely with content strategy, copy, and creative to create an engaging online user experience that converts to real sales.
One of the first things we prioritized was the site architecture and navigation. We looked closely at what users were actually doing and also at our content creation abilities to determine the best landing experiences for our different traffic sources.
The second area of focus was on usability and shopability of the site. We completely re-did the product filters to allow for the addition of new filters and create more flexible landing experiences for ads, social, and email.
The home page and “franchise” pages were our opportunities to visually express the Adidas Watches brand and were previously difficult to update and limited in layout options. New page templates and additional content types allowed the team to plan for additional content and a richer online brand expression.
