HP Omen is the gaming side of HP computers and has a loyal following of gamers that clearly differentiate themselves from the regular HP customer. For a brand that sells everything from highly configurable gaming desktops to printers.
Pathways to shop
HP has multiple web properties and the Omen brand is specifically focused on gaming machines and accessories.
A simplified site structure and navigation was our approach to streamline paths to purchase and guide users around the distractions of the full HP product line.
Design for the Explorer and the Researcher
Electronics in this category are always challenged by the fact that it is difficult understand product differentiators just by looking at photos. Within a very visual gaming culture there is also a time and place for detailed specs, hard facts, and easy comparison. We developed model landing experiences to house high-level content and pushed deeper specs to the product detail pages and robust comparison.
